Appointmentscalendar

  • Appointments last 10 minutes
  • You can signup to eConsult which offers online advice and guidance as well as being another way in to get a telephone consultation
  • Please make an appointment for each person who is to be seen and/or for each problem that is to be discussed.
  • Please feel free to express a preferred practitioner when making your appointment, the doctors would encourage you to stay with one clinician for any particular health issue or episode of care,
  • If you have signed up for online access you can usually book on-line for a doctor or for a nurse appointment. If you would like to use this service please ask receptionists next time you visit. This service has ceased for the duration of the Pandemic
  • You can also make use of the MyGP or NHS App - please follow the instructions when downloading either App - note if you have opted out of text message reminders these Apps may not work for you.
  • If you have a mobile telephone you will receive text messages reminding you of your appointment, asking you to book an appointment for say the Flu jab or to share other information with you. This system will operate automatically if we have a mobile telephone number for you, you can of course opt out should you so wish. Please note that if you use the same mobile number for your children this will confuse the issue when you receive a text. We routinely remove mobile numbers from patients aged 11-18yrs when they are the same number as their parents. We do not monitor text messages - so it is suggested that any questions are directed to the receptionists when you telephone us.

Routine

  • Reception will offer a telephone consultation,
  • Reception will ask for a brief description of your condition, you will not be penalised if you do not wish to share this information with reception, but it is intended to help reception get you seen by the most appropriate person, or to help doctors' prioritise return telephone calls.
  • Return telephone calls will be from 01375 808210
  • Please share any thoughts, comments or suggestions about the appointment system with the practice manager

Chaperones
